A network
for people
who hate
networking.

What it's about.

Rosie Johnstone, founder of Pizza Club, at a table with two pizzas

Running your own business is a rollercoaster. It’s incredible, exciting, terrifying and inspiring, but it can also be lonely. Finding your own tribe of people who truly get it is crucial when it comes to staying sane.

I set up Pizza Club in the hope of finding people a bit like me. People who really want to meet other business owners, make connections and hopefully friendships along the way, but hate traditional networking events to their very core.

I promise you there will be no stuffy suits, lanyards, 7am starts, or dodgy croissants. Instead? A short talk from someone with genuine advice to help your business (no pitches allowed), followed by great pizza, drinks, and chats.

Nobody's keeping score. Nobody's counting referrals. Perhaps you’ll leave with a new customer, a new supplier or a new friend, but you'll definitely leave full.

Who it's for.

Founders & entrepreneurs

Restaurant owners, freelancers, shops, studios, cafés – you name it. If you're building something that you're passionate about, pull up a chair.

Allergic to corporates

Your soul leaves your body at the phrase ‘ice breaker’, but you still want to meet like-minded entrepreneurs.

Partial to a pizza

This one's non-negotiable. Veggie, vegan and gluten-free options are always on the table.

Interested in speaking at an event?

We’re always on the lookout for people with genuine, useful advice for small businesses. Short talks, no pitches.

Questions.

Who runs Pizza Club?

Pizza Club is hosted by Rosie Johnstone of Sapphire & Rose Communications.

Do I have to talk about my business?

Only if you want to. Most people end up chatting about it anyway, but it happens naturally rather than in a 60-second slot.

Is it a membership thing?

Not currently! It’s a pay-as-you-go thing.

Can I bring someone?

Of course – more the merrier!

What about dietary requirements?

Let us know when you book. Veggie, vegan and gluten-free are always covered.

Will you be expanding to other cities?

We hope to one day! Let us know where you’d like to see a Pizza Club.
